The role is within the Daisy Communications (Daisy) Finance team of Daisy Group. Daisy is a Private Equity backed business in the telecoms and IT B2B sector with turnover in excess of 200m and EBITDA 60m with ambitious plans to double over the next 5 years through organic and M&A growth utilising the sector dynamics and fragmented market.
The Assistant Management Accountant will support the Finance Manager to aid analysis of key variances against forecast and provide value add support to the wider business. This role would suit an individual who is keen to progress within the finance function and studying towards ACCA/CIMA.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 17:00/17:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of cost centre reports as part of monthly management reporting.
- Completion and reconciliation of monthly sales ledger processing on Sage 200 with reconciliation to CRM system.
- Drafting and processing monthend journals as well as management of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Adra Balance Sheet reporting.
- Fixed Asset Management in Sage 200 and Group Cognos reporting tool.
- Managing weekly Bank reconciliation.
- Payroll reporting.
- Production of variance analysis on the P&L and Balance Sheet supporting the Finance Manager with the investigation of YTD trends within Overheads.
- Supporting the Finance Manager to complete deliverables for the year end statutory accounts and audit ensuring that records are correct and complete.
- Be vigilant for possible fraudulent activity and if necessary raise a security incident report using the template accessible via the corporate Intranet.
- Periodically review Daisy Security Policies centrally hosted on the Intranet to ensure full compliance with current legal regulatory and company requirements.
Qualifications :
- Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Advanced MS Excel skills to a level enabling effective data analysis.
- Good communication skills able to work effectively with both Finance and NonFinance colleagues.
- A high energy level with creative problemsolving abilities
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- At all times demonstrate confidentiality conscientiousness and trustworthiness.
