Job Description

The DPS Risk Products & Solutions team collaborates with clients to deliver advanced risk products and services that drive industry leading fraud performance. The Director various responsibilities including staying updated on fraud and market trends focusing on strategic initiatives designing platforms and launching new products and features designed to tackle threat vectors beyond transactional solutions. Success in this role requires ideating strategic solutions developing requirements defining product positioning and pricing and effectively managing the product lifecycle.

This postion requires working closely with internal and external stakeholders particularly within the Issuing and RTP Risk Solutions team and the Issuer Processing business. Collaboration extends to Sales Account Management Marketing Finance Technology Operations and Legal teams as well as the broader Issuing Solutions organization. The position is based in the United States with a preference for the Highlands Ranch office.

Responsibilities

  • Own manage and delivery various strategic initiatives pricing models and platform roadmaps
  • Craft and maintain competitive intelligence for Risk and Identity Products.  Conduct competitive customer and market analysis to identify new opportunities becoming an expert on client needs and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Ideate innovate and develop our approach to technology partnership and methodologies (e.g. Agile). 
  • Develop roadmap and manage execution for our Next Gen Risk Platform encompassing a wide array of capabilities functionality and risk signals.  Lead crossfunctional teams on product enhancements ensuring business and client needs are prioritized and solved for in a deliberate manner.  Drive product feature and functionality development.
  • Take a leadership role on product risk and governance initiatives ensuring appropriate controls demonstrable progress on outstanding issues and improved execution efficiency.
  • Manage product financials: pricing revenue and expense forecasting.
  • Articulate the value of DPS and Visas risk and identity products for marketing collateral
  • Support senior management with key client and signature client sales.
  • This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications :

Basic 

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred 

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Demonstrated ability to create complete concise business and technical level requirements including experience with use cases report and screen mockups API file transmissions and crossfunctional requirements.
  • 6 years of product management experience
  • 6 years of experience leading product lines in the technology industry
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams including Engineering Design and Product Marketing
  • Expert level critical thinking organizational analytical and influencing skills. Well balanced between strategy and execution demonstrated history of bringing a vision to life
  • oExperience leading and working within global and regional teams operating in a matrixed environment
  • Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint and Access) with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to travel for business will be required.
  • 10 or more years of work experience building owning or developing risk or financial products or services
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience as a senior member of a product leadership team with clear impacts to P&L Roadmap and Culture
  • Demonstrable history of developing strategy and executing on strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to build crossfunctional consensus amongst internal stakeholders as we pioneer new horizons of solutions and opportunity
  • Excellent public speaking skills crossfunctional communication and emotional intelligence
  • Expert ability to take initiative and build strong and productive relationships across an organization
  • Payments experience (card account other money movement) or other related financial services (e.g. identity graph bureaus etc.) especially around both originations and backoffice operations is a plus

 

 


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 141600.00 to 162950.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
