This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about the hospitality industry focused on driving revenue and skilled in brand management. The Director of Sales & Marketing will oversee sales marketing events and revenue functions working to strengthen the hotels brand enhance guest experiences and achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager Revenue Manager and F00d & Beverage Manager to develop and implement strategic business plans including an annual sales and marketing strategy aligned with hotel objectives.
- Lead the Revenue Sales Marketing and Events teams fostering a supportive and highperforming team culture to achieve individual KPIs team goals and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across all segments secure group bookings and grow key accounts to achieve revenue objectives.
- Represent the hotel at industry events tradeshows and FAM trips with occasional international travel required.
- Oversee sales and marketing budgets ensuring alignment with hotel goals and financial expectations.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing PR team to execute brand advertising and marketing strategies including reputation management.
- Provide regular reporting on progress and collaborate with revenue management for accurate forecasting and market strategy adjustments.
- Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities adjusting strategies to align with current market conditions.
- Create monthly sales and marketing management report and attending monthly review meeting with both corporate team and owners meeting.
Qualifications :
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Sales & Marketing processes and proven ability to lead train and motivate a team.
- Experience collaborating across revenue management sales and marketing functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
- Native Japanese or fluent in Japanese language due to the nature of owning company.
- Good understanding of marketing tools with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Guestcentered approach and strong interpersonal skills capable of working well within a team environment.
Minimum Requirements:
3 years of experience in a senior sales position such as Director of Sales & Marketing or Director of Commercial or Director of Sales
Background in the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Native Japanese preferred due to our hotel ownership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality Management Business Sales Revenue Marketing or a related field.
- Experience in the luxury hospitality market.
