About the Job
Were looking for a motivated Software Engineer Robotics and GUI (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies to focus on developing advanced unmanned ground vehicles for governmental and civilian applications.
In your daytoday work youll program and design the communication and control station for our portfolio companys robot ensuring the secure and efficient operation of their robotic platforms.
Join our portfolio company: A German dualuse technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role youll:
- Programme and integrate software for sensor and actuator systems in robotics applications
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop deliver and refine integrated robotic solutions
- Test and validate hardwaresoftware integrations ensuring reliability security and adherence to operational standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for onsite and remote issues resolving system challenges promptly
- Document technical processes and configurations to enhance knowledge sharing and foster collaboration
Your Profile
- Proficiency in C development and application design
- Experience with QML and Qt to design intuitive control stations for robots as well as robotics control and monitoring interfaces
- Strong problemsolving abilities and a collaborative mindset with the capability to work both independently and within agile teams
- Experience with robotic software integration ideally with the Robot Operating System (ROS 2) is advantageous
- Bachelors degree Masters degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science Machine Learning Robotics or a related field
- Fluency in English is required and German is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
