JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Echo Technologist

All Echo Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as outlined in policies and procedures of the Cardiovascular Laboratory including but not limited to Duplex imaging and/or echocardiography.
- May be crosstrained into other areas in the department.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care to these patients through assessment observation and documentation.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.
- Work is primarily independent.

All Echo Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
- One year or more experience as an Echo Technologist is preferred
- Registered as a cardiac sonographer
General CommentsAdditional Details:Shift: MF 8a4:30p; call 3x p/wk; rotating weekendsSalary Range: $30 $41 (based on years of experience)Sign on/relo : case by case
