Job Description
We are looking for a LINUX Technician
Responsibilities:
In this role you will play a key part in managing and developing technical services and IT platform. You will work to ensure system availability and digital services emphasizing security stability and precision in everything you do. Your contributions will also be central to the delivery and support flow of IT services.
Examples of tasks include:
- Standardizing streamlining and automating workflows and systems.
- Participating in projects related to the technology platform.
- Joining the operations and support team to perform troubleshooting and installations.
- Managing patch updates and server environment upgrades.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and security requirements.
- Actively engaging in technology improvement initiatives.
Security and safety awareness are integral to your work and align with customers mission. You will help create solutions that balance the need to protect sensitive information with the ability to collaborate globally.
Your contribution to smarter IT solutions will support all customers business areas from aviation and maritime to landbased systems.
This role may require occasional travel within Sweden so a valid B driving license is needed. The position is based in Linkping.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 yearsof experience in LINUX server operation and technology.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with security considerations in automated configuration management.
- A strong interest in technology and staying updated with industry developments.
- Fluent in Swedish and English both spoken and written as documentation is an essential part of the work.
To thrive in this role you should be meticulous serviceoriented and enjoy working in a team. Curiosity and the ability to propose new ideas and improvements are highly valued.
Meritorious experience:
- Knowledge of Red Hat SUSE Manager or similar tools.
- Experience with Ansible Docker or Kubernetes.
- System hardening expertise.
