Overview:
Within the Financial Systems team the Senior Financial Systems Developer will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of Finance via development of new reporting analytics and process automations. Leveraging TM1 SQL Power BI and other relevant technology the developer will be responsible for sourcing extracting transforming and modelling data to streamline Finances processes and improve the overall data quality consistency and accessibility for the bank.
The role will lead development projects collaborating with other developers and analysts where required to meet the teams objectives. The developer will need to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Finance function to help understand their data requirements upstream systems and associated processes.
What You Will Be Doing:
Candidate Specification:
TM1 development skills cubes dimensions complex TI processes rules dynamic reporting (active forms) workflows
Power BI data modelling (DAX & M) and dashboard development
SQL development skills for new ETLs and understanding upstream databases
Advanced MDX VBA and Excel
Development lifecycle TM1 coding best practices and change management
Familiar with financial and regulatory reporting planning and analysis requirements within banking
Data management principles
Experience with Cubewise TM1 tools such as Arc Slice & TM1Py.
IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) development
Python
Data Lakes & Warehousing principles
Qualified Accountant (preferable)
Relevant technical certifications in TM1 SQL & Power BI
5 years TM1 & SQL development experience working on endtoend projects ideally within small team within Financial Services
2 years developing models and dashboards on Power BI
Selfmotivated with ability to work independently with stakeholders
Proactively seek opportunities to improve and automate processes
Clear and concise communication to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Willingness to share knowledge to support and develop others.
