Job Description

Benelux Tek Group Inc. (Aerospace Division) is currently seeking highly skilled Maintenance Technician for one of its clients in Lincoln Nebraska.


Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Lincoln (Nebraska)
Contract Type: Permanent Placement
Benefit: $5000 (Relocation Reimbursement )

Job Overview: The Maintenance Technician position ensures that all inspection activities are accomplished in the most efficient manner and in accordance with approved company manuals procedures and policies to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and guidelines. This position is a supervisory position reporting to the Chief Inspector.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance work on company Embraer ERJ145 aircraft at our maintenance bases including but not limited to dismantling overhauling repairing assembling all aircraft parts and components.
  • Perform routine releases returning aircraft to service.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company manufacturer and FAA requirements.
  • Maintain work area tools and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions Collaborate with appropriate Inspection personnel (RII).
  • Ensure hazardous materials storage is frequently inspected and ensure proper labeling containers and location in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid unrestricted driver s license.
  • Good driving record and ability to drive tugs trucks and hangar equipment; taxi aircraft; alert to moving vehicles and aircraft.
  • Valid US passport (or foreign passport with documented work authorization in the US).
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Positive attitude towards productivity safety and quality maintenance.
  • Available to work shifts and overtime if necessary.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs bend stoop crawl and kneel frequently in confined spaces



Minimum of four (4) years experience as an aviation paint technician working on commercial or corporate aircraft.

Education

A&P license
