Precision Imaging Centers is committed to providing superior care and exceptional clarity in diagnostic imaging. We are seeking a Medical Records Courier to ensure the safe timely and confidential transportation of medical records between healthcare facilities.
Position Overview
The Medical Records Courier plays a critical role in securely transporting sensitive patient documents while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies. This position requires strong attention to detail reliability and professionalism when interacting with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport Medical Records Pick up and deliver medical records and confidential documents between hospitals clinics and healthcare providers.
- Ensure Confidentiality & Compliance Follow all HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.
- Maintain Documentation & Tracking Keep accurate records of deliveries pickups and required signatures.
- Vehicle Maintenance Maintain a clean safe and wellfunctioning vehicle.
- Timeliness Complete all deliveries and pickups according to a set schedule.
- Customer Service Provide professional and courteous interactions with healthcare staff.
- ProblemSolving Address delivery issues such as delays or missing documents promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a courier or delivery role preferred especially in healthcare.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Comfort with using mobile devices GPS and tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Licensing: Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift items over 25 lbs.
- Extended periods of sitting driving and standing.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM
