Job Description
Paradigm is seeking a Senior Technician (PLSCADD) to support our client a leading fullservice geospatial solutions provider. We are looking for someone with expertise in transmission line engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and aptitude for applying remotely sensed data within PLSCADD software to model transmission lines.

- Model and update lines in the 69kV to 550kV range in PLSCADD to comply with the client s standards specifications preferences and relevant industry standards
- Apply remotely sensed data (LiDAR) to existing transmission line models in PLSCADD with neatness and a small margin of error
- Perform structural analysis and design of structures (pole lattice framed and guyed)
- Specify transmission line components
Requirements
- At least 1year related experience in transmission line engineering
- Technical Proficiency with PLSCADD PLSPOLE PLSTOWER
- Proficiency with MicroStation is desirable
- Knowledge of design techniques tools and principals involved in the production of transmission lime models in PLSCADD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- US Citizenship is required due to contract obligations
