The Repair Technician is responsible for providing exemplary service and customer support. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and electronic equipment ensuring effective communication with customers over the phone to assist them with operational procedures and requirements. Testing and verifying equipment functionality will be a crucial aspect of your role along with diagnosing technical problems and documenting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and customer support
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers about operations and requirements
  • Test and verify the functionality of repaired equipment
  • Diagnose errors and determine appropriate solutions
  • Document processes and complete required documentation
  • Collaborate with the technical team to resolve issues
  • Complete presale upgrades and conversions as needed
  • Evaluate and refurbish systems returned from demonstrations and rentals
  • Setup and troubleshoot basic network connections

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in electrical/electronic and mechanical fields or related positions
  • 2Year Technical degree apprenticeship program or equivalent in a technical or military field
  • Experience assisting clients over the phone with troubleshooting
