Qualifications And Skills
- Proficiency in microbial culture methods (Mandatory skill) for isolating and maintaining microbial strains under laboratory conditions.
- Familiarity with PCR techniques to amplify DNA sequences for further analysis.
- Understanding of nextgeneration sequencing methods to analyze genetic material economically and efficiently.
- Competency in using bioinformatics software to interpret complex biological data.
- Experience with various molecular biology techniques to study the characteristics of microorganisms.
- Ability to operate flow cytometry for cell sorting and biomarker detection purposes.
- Knowledge of chromatography methods to separate and analyze chemical mixtures.
- Involvement in environmental DNA analysis to detect organisms in their natural habitats.
- Conduct experiments and research on microbial samples to support ongoing projects.
- Analyze and interpret data from microbiological studies and report findings to the team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all experiments and procedures.
- Collaborate with scientists and researchers to develop innovative solutions in agricultural biotechnology.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Participate in team meetings and present research updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and scientific publications.
