This role will provide technical and Quality & Food Safety leadership for Channo COSO manufacturing site and help delivering AMESA sector QC vision “Drive Quality and Food safety Excellence to delight our consumers and customers.”
Responsible to ensure food safety plans and policies at Channo unit are in alignment with PepsiCo policies and India BU strategies.
Develop and execute food safety strategies and plans in alignment with the Business Unit Strat Plan and in alignment with the PepsiCo Food Safety Policies.
Ensure food safety requirements are fully understood at manufacturing site and provide training of all pertinent requirements and best practices around food safety.
Provide SME support to maintain safe processes and products within the current portfolio and with future innovation.
Nurture Q&FS culture to deliver sustained results on Q&FS.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute Q&FS strategic plans for site in alignment with India business unit Plan and PepsiCo Q&FS Policies.
Ensure Q&FS requirements are fully understood at manufacturing site.
Nurturing Q&FS culture to build sustainable quality performance.
Lead troubleshooting and SME support efforts for products and processes.
Ensure HACCP Plans are in place and effective in the site.
Ensure PepsiCo Global Food Safety Standards are effectively implemented and periodically assessed for compliance.
Ensure traceability of ingredients materials and finished product is effective and the tracking can be accomplished in a timely manner.
Ensure the site is capable to meet Q&FS requirements in terms of people infrastructure and process/building designs.
Develop Q&FS capability build program through training need identification along training trg calendar
Continually assess and identify systematic issues found in Q&FS audits and ensure CAPA are developed in a timely manner.
Ensure appropriate information is provided to enable an accurate measurement of food safety for BU within the 3D Quality program.
Compliance to FSSAI requirements as nominee for FSSAI for Plant and WH.
Qualifications
At least a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology/Microbiology/Dairy Technology with a strong understanding of Foods manufacturing
Functional Experience: 3 – 4 years of experience and proven track record managing Q&FS within food manufacturing operations
At least 1012 years of experience in food industry
Lead auditor certification in food safety management systems (ISO 22K FSSC 22K) would be preferred
