Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (PostgreSQL) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
A fastmoving fullyremote startup on a mission to revolutionize how companies connect and engage their hourly workers.
Your role will involve collaborating with Product Marketing and Analytics to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
As a Senior Data Engineer your primary responsibility is to contribute to the design development and maintenance of a scalable and reliable data platform.
Analyze the current database and warehouse. Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support data migration.
Lead by example. Implement data engineering best practices and design patterns.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field
7 years of professional experience in software engineering including 5 years of experience in data engineering
Proven expertise in building and managing scalable data platforms
Proficiency in Python Strong knowledge of SQL data modeling data migration and database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB). Prior experience with data migration strategies is a must.
Exceptional problemsolving skills optimizing data systems.
