Job Description
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct all the daily activities related to the studies.
Act proactively to identify and solve problems and/or potential problems that may arise during each study.
Set up and conduct experiments in accordance with the labs Protocols and SOPs.
Efficiently conduct studies with minimal supervision.
Accurately perform and record all data collected from the studies.
Maintain meticulous and precise records of all experiments in accordance with GLPs.
Follow all lab safety requirements.
The Scientist must join the weekend work rotation after crosstraining and certification.
Help during other studies as needed.
Assist in the writing of reports protocols and SOPs.
Writeout necessary amendments and deviations.
Revise update and maintain the study data packs.
Ability to safely wear a respirator required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
B.S. or M.S. degree in Toxicology Animal Science Biology or Laboratory Animal Medicine is strongly preferred equivalent handson laboratory experience may also be taken into consideration.
The individual holding this position must be of highest integrity and have a very strong sense of responsibility and be proactive. He/she must be mature well organized capable of adapting to a broad spectrum of responsibilities and able to maintain meticulous and accurate records. Computer proficiency excellent communication skills knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and a strong work ethic are essential requirements for this position. Adherence to GLPs is of utmost importance.
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime working MondayFriday 8am5pm some weekend required overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to South Brunswick Township NJ are encouraged to apply.
