Job Description
Pay Rate: $21.50
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 pm11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am4:59am)
- At the direction of the department supervisor assists in training employees to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Adheres to GMPs and preset safety standards
- Monitors predetermined quality and safety standards within assigned work areas. report findings to supervisor for followup
- Follows break and lunch schedules as determined by department supervisor
- Follows rotation schedules as determined by department supervisor
- Strives to achieve predetermined plant production goals and schedules
- Assists coworkers in performing department job tasks safely and efficiently
- Assists in the completion of reports (e.g. production QC etc.)
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor (i.e. hand out supplies safety inspections etc.)
Qualifications :
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to communicate production details to department supervision and the management team
- Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to perform math calculations to include percentages
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions and multitask duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (810 hours) on uneven surfaces and work in wet cold and/or hot environments
- Must be able to solve and correct minor problems and adjustments to production equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be able to lift 550lbs
- Must have a good safety performance & attendance record
- Previous experience operating production machinery preferred
