Location: Remote (Services must be performed within Canada)

Employment Type: FullTime Contract

Organization: Shared Health Process Improvement Office (PIO)

About Shared Health & PIO:

Shared Health leads the planning and coordination of patientcentred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The Process Improvement Office (PIO) supports the Ministry of Health in streamlining processes and improving efficiencies across the provinces healthcare systems. Working closely with service delivery organizations educational institutions and clinical experts PIO ensures that healthcare resource needs and priority initiatives are effectively supported.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Health Care Retention and Recruitment Office (HCRRO). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clinical project planning and delivery leading complex healthcare infrastructure projects and advising senior leadership within the government and healthcare organizations.

This role requires strong expertise in healthcare project management strategic planning service design and stakeholder engagement particularly with Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management initiatives related to clinical planning and hospital redevelopment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare service delivery organizations to improve efficiencies and integrate patientfocused strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance and reporting to seniorlevel government and organizational leaders.
  • Engage with Indigenous stakeholders and rightsholders in healthcare planning and communications.
  • Deliver patient and provider journey mapping initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning master site planning and service design efforts.
  • Implement technology solutions in healthcare environments.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (Proof required upon submission).
  • Project Management certification (Proof required upon submission).
  • ProSci Change Management certification (Proof required upon submission).

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • ValuesBased Healthcare training (Proof requested upon submission).
  • 10 years of experience in clinical project planning and hospital redevelopment.
  • 10 years of experience leading complex healthcare infrastructure projects.
  • 10 years of experience in seniorlevel project delivery including advising government and healthcare leadership.
  • 3 years of experience engaging Indigenous stakeholders in healthcarerelated initiatives.
  • 5 years of experience in patient and provider journey mapping.
  • 3 years of experience in strategic planning master site planning and service design.
  • 5 years of experience implementing technology solutions in healthcare settings.
