We are seeking a friendly and professional Reception Team member to join our organization in Salisbury United Kingdom. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Handle guest inquiries complaints and requests efficiently and courteously
- Manage checkin and checkout procedures ensuring a smooth process for all guests
- Respond to phone calls emails and inperson inquiries promptly and accurately
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing data entry and report generation
- Stay informed about hotel amenities local attractions and events to provide guests with relevant information
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures
Qualifications :
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and hotel management systems
- Experience with OPERA CLOUD system is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar reception or customer service role is an asset
- Problemsolving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with tact
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
