Job Description
Were seeking a passionate and solutionoriented Senior Data Engineer for our Product Analytics Team. The mission of the Product Analytics team is to empower every product team at LeanIX to take datainspired actions via a robust and scalable analytics infrastructure. It is the responsibility of Senior Data Engineer in the team to provide the tools best practices and expert guidance for how to use the infrastructure.
As Senior Data Engineer you are not only an individual contributor but support your team with a strong customercentric mindset and a drive to take on ownership over product capabilities or technical components. You will empower our product teams with the right approach architecture and tools to provide effective and efficient data in Databricks.

- Implementation of data pipelines enabling us to leverage data analytics
- Shape a cloudbased stream and batch processing solution to integrate data sources and APIs
- Act as direct interface to our Product & Engineering and BI teams for all technical product analytics topics
- Provide tools and advice for data ingestion processing and analysis to empower our teams in gaining valuable insights

WHAT IS OUR STACK
- ETL Date Lakehousing & ML/AI workflows on Databricks
- Microservices based on Node.js/Typescript Kotlin and Python
- Infrastructure based on Azure ecosystem Kubernetes & Docker
- API technologies such as REST and GraphQL
- Eventdriven architecture
- Modern CI/CD toolchains (e.g. Github Actions Feature Toggling)
- Angular (Micro) Frontends (TypeScript Tailwind NgRx Nx Jest)
- Monitoring & Alerting e.g. Instana
- Product Usage Tracking using Amplitude & Azure Log Analytics
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Live by our
- Solve architectural challenges and deliver customer value in a SaaS product environment
- Have a passion for both engineering and data and an understanding how they relate
- You have experience in building highperformance data pipelines based on Databricks or similar tech stack
- You approach data enginering with a DevOps mindset using Github Actions Terraform Cloud and Databricks Bundles
- Extensive handson experience with one of the before mentioned programming languages preferably in a SaaS environment
- Familiarity with uptodate data engineering tools and industry best practices is highly desirable
- Open communication style and fluent written and spoken English skills are required
