Job Description
Enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer Then what better way to further your career in hospitality then to join the Overnight Housekeeping team at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Enjoy the great trails and deep powder before coming in to work with a Housekeeping team that strives for excellence.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Collecting sorting & distributing all Housekeeping linen.
- Handling soiled ripped and stained linen
- Stocking all Housekeeping suppliers and super suppliers with linen and required guest room amenities.
- Performing Evening Turndown service to standards outlined in Training.
- Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all Housekeeping backspaces.
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program.
- Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Proven excellent guest services skills.
- Applicant must be a highly responsible selfmotivated individual who excels in an independent work atmosphere.
- Must practice safe work habits including awareness of safe work procedures.
- Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
- Highschool diploma an asset
Physical Aspects of Position:
- Constant walking throughout shift
- Housekeeper is a very physically demanding position. Duties include repetitive bending pulling carrying high lifting and heavy pushing (up to 100lbs.).
