Role overview:

At WeAre Solutions Oy we believe that observability is the key to operational resilience scalability and business success. As we expand our Observability practice we are actively bringing in new talent to strengthen our expertise. We are now seeking a Senior Cloud and Data Platform Engineer (Observability and DevOps) to be a key player in this growth. This role goes beyond contributing to a single projectits about becoming an integral part of our observability initiatives. In this position youll be at the forefront of designing building and optimizing enterprisescale cloud platforms and realtime data pipelines enabling organizations to gain deep operational insights. Key Responsibilities

  1. Architect & Scale Cloud Infrastructure: Design implement and optimize highly available cloud solutions on AWS/Azure ensuring security compliance and costeffectiveness.
  2. Build & Optimize Data Pipelines: Develop realtime streaming architectures using Kafka and other tools to ensure seamless data movement and analytics.
  3. Automate & Manage Infrastructure: Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters Terraform and containerized environments to enable scalable and resilient systems.
  4. Collaborate & Align with Business Goals: Partner with IT and data teams to ensure cloud and data solutions meet enterprise objectives.
  5. Enhance System Performance & Observability: Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements for performance monitoring and operational resilience.
  6. Splunk & Monitoring Integration (if applicable): Implement custom monitoring dashboards and alerting using Splunk Prometheus or Grafana.

Tech Stack:

  1. Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2 S3) Azure (Storage Accounts Data Lake)
  2. Data Tools: Apache Kafka Splunk
  3. Infrastructure: Kubernetes Terraform Docker
  4. Languages: Python
  5. Monitoring: Splunk Prometheus/Grafana

Requirements:

MustHave:

  1. 5 years experience in cloud engineering DevOps or data platform development.
  2. Proficiency in AWS or Azure for scalable cloud infrastructure.
  3. Strong expertise in Kafka Kubernetes and Terraform.
  4. Fluent Finnish for client communication (mandatory).
  5. Ability to work independently in a remote setup and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.

NicetoHave:

  1. Background in financial services banking or enterprise environments.
  2. Previous work experience with Splunk and other monitoring tools

Location: Helsinki/Remote within Finland

Salary Range:/M negotiable depending upon experience
