We are looking for a detailoriented Accounts Payable Specialist to process highvolume invoices with speed and accuracy. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment and have a keen eye for detail this role is for you!
What Youll Do:
- Process invoices using a cloudbased purchase requisition to invoice system.
- Maintain Accounts Payable subledger within SAP.
- Administer payment runs ensuring proper approvals are in place before processing.
- Manage vendor setup and compliance (tax documents electronic banking details).
- Reconcile vendor accounts and statements investigating any discrepancies.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely payments.
- Submit and manage paperbased invoices as needed.
- Provide backup support and crosstraining for team members.
- Assist with periodic tax filings and participate in special projects.
What You Bring:
35 years of Accounts Payable experience.
Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills with superb attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and collaborate effectively.
SAP experience is a plus.
Knowledge of Canada provincial sales tax T4A/Releve 1 and 1099 processing is a bonus.
