Key Responsibilities for an ICU Registered Nurse
- Monitor patients vital signs and ensure immediate intervention in lifethreatening situations.
- Implement and evaluate individualized care plans in cooperation with healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments in adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications for Aspiring ICU Nurses
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment or NLC.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an ICU setting or critical care unit.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and criticalthinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
