Job Coach - Riverwood

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Job Coach to join our team in Riverwood Australia. As a Job Coach you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals to achieve their employment goals providing guidance and facilitating successful job placements.

• Assess clients skills interests and barriers to employment to develop personalized action plans
• Provide oneonone coaching and support to clients throughout their job search process
• Conduct job readiness workshops and training sessions on topics such as resume writing interview skills and workplace etiquette
• Collaborate with local employers to identify job opportunities and facilitate client placements
• Assist clients in navigating job application processes and preparing for interviews
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions progress and outcomes using job placement software
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and employment service providers
• Advocate for clients with potential employers and provide onthejob support when necessary
• Stay informed about local job market trends and share relevant information with clients
• Provide followup support to ensure client success and job retention

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Psychology Social Work Human Resources or related field
• Minimum 23 years of experience in job coaching career counseling or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
• Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with job placement software
• Knowledge of job search strategies and employment resources
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment
• Understanding of local job market trends and employment opportunities in Riverwood Australia
• Knowledge of disability employment services and support programs
• Certified Career Coach (CCC) or similar certification preferred
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel within Riverwood and surrounding areas
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Empathetic and patient approach to client support
