Job Description

 Education and Experience:

         Hold a minimum of a Masters degree in Islamic Finance   

 

(Ph.D. is preferred)

 

 

         Have a strong academic background with experience in teaching at the university level or relevant professional experience in the business field.

         Where applicable demonstrate a record of scholarly research publications or contributions to the business community.

 

2.      Subject Matter Expertise:

         Possess indepth knowledge in one or more areas of Finance(specifically Islamic Finance)

         Familiarity with current industry trends practices and technological advancements in the field of Finance and Banking

 

3.      Teaching Skills:

         Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver lectures facilitate discussions and engage students in learning.

         Ability to develop and deliver curriculum using various teaching methodologies including case studies group projects experiential learning and innovative instructional technologies.

4.      Research and Publications:

         Show evidence of ongoing or potential research activities including publications in reputable journals conference presentations or research projects.

         Willingness to actively contribute to the facultys research agenda and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations.

 

5.      Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills:

         Possess strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

         Ability to contribute to the positive and inclusive culture of the Faculty of Business and the wider university community.

 

6.      Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English is required for both teaching and communication purposes.
