The team you will join: Europe Money Movement
We provide our customers with quick convenient and cheap money transfers in a handful of European currencies.
We work on new direct integrations with local payment systems keep our existing integrations healthy and scale them for our increasing customer base. We reduce risk and improve resilience. We work with banking and payment operations teams to make their processes more efficient.
We are one of the largest money movement teams in the company working on products and features for all of our European customers enabling payins and payouts in European currencies.
Qualifications :
What does it take:
5 years of experience in Java or Kotlin (or other JVM based language)
Strong experience with Spring framework relational databases and distributed and concurrent systems (Kafka)
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
A strong product mindset you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make datadriven decisions to fix customer painpoints
Being able to work independently on customer problems is a key to success you take responsibility and endtoend ownership of your projects: drive and own them to make sure we hit the goals we want to achieve
Close collaboration with product managers data scientists data analysts engineers and other product teams is a must have and is something to expect to happen on a daily basis
Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical audience
You enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development
You believe in and follow best coding practices code reviews and open feedback
You strive to improve our team culture and processes
Being able to propose technical solutions that optimise for latency and throughput at the same time
