Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to support commercial and industrial designbuild projects from concept through completion. This role requires a detailoriented professional with 3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and BIM software. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams including architects engineers and construction professionals to develop accurate and highquality drawings and models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and drafting of commercial and industrial projects using AutoCAD Revit and BIM software.
- Create and modify architectural plans elevations sections and details to support project development.
- Collaborate with project managers architects and engineers to ensure drawings align with project specifications and design intent.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in drawings and documentation throughout project phases.
- Conduct site visits and field measurements to support design development and documentation.
- Coordinate with structural mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) disciplines to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents shop drawings and asbuilt documentation.
- Work within BIM models to support clash detection and coordination with other trades.
- Stay up to date with building codes industry standards and best practices related to commercial and industrial architecture.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technician preferably in commercial and industrial designbuild projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and BIM software (Navisworks experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of construction methods materials and building systems.
- Knowledge of building codes zoning regulations and industry standards.
- Experience in coordinating with MEP structural and civil disciplines.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail organization and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
