Job Description
We have a parttime opportunity for a passionate fashion lover/aspiring stylist working across our Contemporary Lounge and Ladies Fashions areas.
In Ladies Fashions we sell beautiful brands such as Seasalt Vassalli Curate Lobbies Story and White stuff.
The Contemporary Lounge has a focus on high fashion for those among us who demand the latest looks. If you shop in this area of the store and know its reputation for offering covetable brands that appeal to a broad range of customers maybe youve had thoughts of becoming one of our brand experts.
Successful Candidates
To be successful in your application fashion retail experience is essential. If you have a track record of delighting customers through your genuinely kind advice bubbly personality and exceptional fashion knowledge to achieve retail sales targets we want to hear from you.
We provide opportunities for you to expand your styling skills so that you have the confidence to provide that oneonone Styling service to advise on the latest trends and create outfits for any occasion. You will be brand savvy and able to show off your expert product knowledge.
These are busy areas and as one of our salespeople you will enjoy interacting with our customers having the confidence to provide that oneonone service to advise on the latest trends or show off your product knowledge. You will enjoy working as part of a team and be excited about being part of some of our instore events. Being passionate motivated and committed to achieving high standards at all times.
You will be adaptable you will use your initiative to keep on top of tasks ensuring your area is kept wellpresented and stocked.
Attending product training sessions to expand your knowledge is key for success.
Having a good teamwork ethic along with the flexibility to work across all of these areas is essential to assist the wider team when required. You will be working with an established team and embrace the positive culture that be Ballantynes offers.
The ideal applicants will have the following attributes:
- Previous retail experience
- A genuine love for fashion
- Be helpful and willing to go above and beyond to assist our customers.
- Passionate about working with quality merchandise
- Be confident and enthusiastic.
- Great teamwork skills
Additional Information :
The role is 11 hours per week working Sunday and Monday.
Initial closing date of 20 February 2025. However applications will be reviewed as and when received and this advert may close early once sufficient applicants are received.
Applicants must have current eligibility to work in New Zealand.
