Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced European Project Coordinator to join our ADAS department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general coordination of European projects acting as a key interface between the European Commission and the internal teams partners and external stakeholders. This position brings the opportunity to be involved in the latest Research and Development projects on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Connected & Automated Vehicle topics. The position will be based in IDIADA HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General coordination of European projects
  • Capability to take decisions into action.
  • Coordinate daytoday internal scientific/technical work according to project work plans.
  • Coordination of the Work Package organize meetings status update and actions
  • Prepare agendas and presentations for project meetings such as General Assemblies and related steering committees participate in meetings and chair meetings.
  • Guide project partners on various aspects including mitigation plans ethical issues and work plans.
  • Resolve conflicts and orient partners toward work plan objectives.
  • Manage project quality and risks including revision of all final documents such as deliverables communications and materials.
  • Elaborate and follow up on Data Management Plans.
  • Monitor ethical regulatory processes and ensure compliance.
  • Manage Gantt charts timelines and deadlines.
  • Perform daily management activities organize projectrelated meetings and events and handle administrative tasks.
  • Monitor and manage EC Portal activities including uploading deliverables milestones and outputs.
  • Conduct financial followups of the overall project spending contacting partners to do such followup to avoid deviations
  • Preparation and coordination of amendments if required.

 


Qualifications :

Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering.
  • Project management expertise would be an asset
  • Knowledge of the Automotive sector would be an asset

Languages

  • Advanced level of English and Spanish
  • Other languages would be an asset

Additional Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet timecritical schedules.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to provide direction.
  • Strong writing skills for technical and/or scientific content guidelines and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills especially in negotiation and consensusbuilding.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with diverse groups of people.
  • Proactive approach and problemsolving orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good numeracy skills with the ability to present and interpret financial reports.
