Job Description
Monday Friday Shifts may vary
Under direct professional supervision assumes critical responsibility for maintaining optimal operational efficiency of Medical Center infrastructure and equipment through systematic monitoring preventive maintenance protocols and necessary repairs.
- Executes professionalgrade carpentry operations including structural wall repairs precision patching and standardized painting procedures
- Performs minor electrical maintenance including diagnostics and repairs of HVAC systems plumbing infrastructure and vital hospital equipment
- Implements strategic work prioritization to ensure timely completion of critical maintenance tasks
- Maintains adherence to patient confidentiality protocols and secures all sensitive departmental documentation in accordance with institutional policies
- Demonstrates technical expertise in facility operations and equipment maintenance
- Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and maintenance procedures in accordance with healthcare facility standards
Qualifications :
Mandatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification is required.
Professional Certifications (Preferred):
- Valid Third Class Maryland State Stationary Engineer operational license; welding certification and refrigeration certification
Critical Technical Experience: (Preferred)
- One year boiler experience preferred; and one year of HVAC experience preferred.
