Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator II to join our Community Psychiatry team in Baltimore. In this role you will be responsible for managing daily administrative operations coordinating patient scheduling and ensuring smooth office functionality while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.

  • Manage and coordinate daily office operations for the Community Psychiatry department
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments maintaining an efficient calendar system
  • Process and maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients healthcare providers and staff
  • Coordinate communication between medical staff patients and other healthcare facilities
  • Handle sensitive patient information while ensuring HIPAA compliance
  • Manage office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Process incoming referrals and coordinate patient intake procedures
  • Assist with insurance verification and basic billing inquiries
  • Generate and maintain various administrative reports
  • Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma required; Associates degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
  • 23 years of experience in medical office coordination preferably in a psychiatric or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and healthcare compliance regulations
  • Demonstrated experience with scheduling software and medical office management systems
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Detailoriented with strong problemsolving skills
  • Experience in managing administrative documentation and recordkeeping
