CEDA is looking to hire 1 ToolCrib Attendants for an upcoming shutdown in the Conklin area. Candidates must have experience with shutdowns in a tool crib
What we offer:
- Rate of $42/hour with a $3/hour night shift premium
- Camp accommodations provided
- Day and night shifts working 12hr days
- Tentative start date: March 26 2025
- Shutdown expected to wrap up MidJune 2025
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Tool & Equipment Management: Oversee the issuance and return of tools and equipment required for the mechanical shutdown ensuring all items are in good working condition and properly cataloged.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels order and replenish tools parts and supplies as required throughout the shutdown period.
- Tool Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance on tools and equipment identifying and reporting any damaged or malfunctioning items to the appropriate team for repair or replacement.
- Logistical Support: Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely distribution of tools and equipment to the appropriate personnel and areas onsite.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all tools and equipment are used according to safety guidelines and standards and assist with safety audits as required.
- Stock Organization: Keep the tool crib and storage areas organized clean and wellmaintained to ensure quick access to tools and prevent delays.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of tool and equipment usage returns and stock levels and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Communication: Serve as the point of contact for personnel requiring tools and equipment providing assistance and addressing any needs or issues efficiently.
Role Specifications:
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in tool crib management warehouse operations or a similar role in an industrial or mechanical environment. Experience in shutdowns is an advantage.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of mechanical tools equipment and their proper maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills able to collaborate with teams across various departments.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy tools and equipment as required. The role may require standing bending and walking for extended periods.
- Safety Certification: H2S Alive CSO or CSTS 2020
