About the Role
Were looking for a Junior Sales Executive to join our Food Portfolio team in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in B2B sales and make a real impact in the food industry.
What Youll Do
As our Junior Sales Executive youll play a crucial role in driving our business forward. Heres what your daytoday might look like:
- Generate leads and support our Business Development team
- Engage in sales calls and reporting
- Bring in new clients and reconnect with previous ones
- Help maximize client ROI and our revenue potential
- Provide sales administrative support
- Assist with rebooking activities for our flagship events: Fi Europe and Vitafoods Europe
- Contribute to our global Fi & Vitafoods portfolio
Your Key Responsibilities
- Handle client requests promptly and professionally
- Reach out to key clients via phone and email to boost revenue
- Support new client searches and set up mail merges
- Discover new business opportunities through various channels
- Build engaging relationships with clients and guide them through the buying process
- Keep our Salesforce database uptodate with the latest client information
- Attend trade shows to generate interest from potential clients
- Conduct research to build your own client base
- Ensure nonsales client requests are directed to the right team
- Manage and track customer feedback
- Maintain accurate records of shared documents
- Assist with reporting presentations and strategy meetings
- Collaborate on preshow and onsite rebooking activities
- Visit competitor trade shows (about 10% of your time)
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- Relevant B2B sales experience
- Ability to manage diverse customer accounts
- Familiarity with Excel and Salesforce
- Strong relationshipbuilding and customer service skills
- Confidence in developing relationships at all levels
- Knack for identifying crossselling and upselling opportunities
- Ability to communicate our value proposition effectively
- Negotiation skills and proactive problemsolving abilities
- Interpersonal skills with a dash of enthusiasm
- Multitasking abilities and excellent organization
- Flexibility creativity and a proactive attitude
- Selfmotivation and attention to detail
- Fluency in English (German and/or French is a plus)
