Job Description
As a Specialist Operative Hygiene you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility meets the highest hygiene standards. Youll be responsible for executing cleaning schedules maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. Your work will directly impact the quality and safety of our products fostering confidence among internal teams and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Waste Management: Remove and segregate waste into the correct skips to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Cider Tank Cleaning: Ensure daily cleaning of small cider tanks and thorough cleaning of large tanks before deliveries.
PreStart Checks: Conduct prestart checks and address any issues reporting them to the Team Leader.
Compliance & Reporting: Accurately complete required documentation and escalate any issues.
Equipment Maintenance: Report faults to engineers and Team Leader while assisting in equipment upkeep.
PPE & Safety: Ensure all staff wear appropriate PPE and report stock levels when necessary.
Fat Trap Servicing: Oversee monthly servicing with thirdparty contractors.
HighLevel & GlutenFree Cleaning: Support hygiene plans including deep cleans and campaignspecific requirements.
Key Tasks
Empty bins across the site including canteen offices and factory waste disposal.
Perform additional equipment cleans during production hours as needed.
Reassemble specific machinery postcleaning such as Hopper Toppers and Turbo machines.
Operate and deep clean the tray wash when required.
Maintain tidiness in the tray warehouse and ensure the floor remains dry.
Adhere to health & safety protocols and report any risks immediately.
Support the Team Leader in ensuring smooth operations within the Hygiene Department.
