Job Purpose:
The Service Station Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fuel station ensuring efficient service delivery managing staff maintaining safety and compliance and driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee fuel and convenience store operations to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Manage stock levels for fuel and retail products ensuring timely replenishment.
- Maintain site cleanliness equipment functionality and overall presentation.
Sales & Customer Service
- Drive sales and profitability by implementing effective marketing and promotional strategies.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.
- Handle customer queries complaints and conflict resolution.
Financial & Cash Control
- Monitor daily sales cash handling and banking processes.
- Implement and enforce cash management controls to prevent losses and fraud.
- Track expenses budget adherence and cost control measures.
Staff Management
- Recruit train and manage station staff including cashiers and attendants.
- Schedule shifts monitor performance and enforce company policies.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and enforce adherence to fuel retail industry standards.
- Implement loss prevention measures and security protocols.

- Matric (Grade 12) required; a Diploma or Degree in Business Management/Retail Management is an advantage.
Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fuel retail or a similar service station management role. Strong background in operations management, sales, and staff supervision. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Knowledge of fuel station operations, stock control, and cash handling. Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) required; a Diploma or Degree in Business Management/Retail Management is an advantage.
