Shift Schedule: MonFri; 8a5p

Call Schedule:

Nights; 5p8a

Weekends: SatSun; 24 hrs (7a7a)

Call Response Time: 1530 mins

Patient Volume: 04/day

810 Emergent Surgeries per year

02 ED Consults/day

% of Practice: 100% Pediatrics

Rounding included: Yes; admitted patients and weekend surgical consults as needed

Physician in Practice: 1

Support Staff: 1 NP RN LPN Office Staff

Procedures:

Appendectomy Biopsy Pyloric Stenosis

Hernia repair Cholecystectomy I&D

Device implants (gtube VAD etc) Tracheotomy

Exploratory lap Bowel restrictions and Nissen Fundoplication

No. of Exam Rooms: 3

EMR: Epic

Duties:

Collaborating with other pediatric providers to diagnosis and determine if surgery is necessary.

Managing and performing preoperative operative and postoperative care.

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active VA License

DEA

BLS PALS

Flu Vaccine

Clean Record
