Our client an international industrial machinery manufacturer is looking for a Regional PIT/PUC Sales and Technical Advisor to drive sales growth and build lasting client relationships in the mining sector. You will leverage your technical expertise in the PIT/PUC product line deliver tailored product recommendations and communicate technical concepts seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve mastery in the PIT/PUC product line ensuring precise customer needs analysis effective product recommendations clear technical communication efficient proposal preparation and the establishment of enduring customer relationships fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
- Assume the role of project lead for all pertinent initiatives within the product line taking ownership of project planning execution and oversight. This includes coordinating with crossfunctional teams ensuring alignment with project objectives managing resources effectively and driving the successful completion of projects within specified timelines.
- Drive regional growth by enhancing lead and sales generation proactively exploring new customer opportunities and collaborating with Executive Management to implement comprehensive sales marketing financial and structural strategies.
- Maximize regional success by managing dealers promoting products coordinating sales transactions addressing customer queries and achieving sales targets through extensive travel and deal closures.
- Optimize administrative efficiency by managing documentation maintaining a comprehensive Sales Force database handling project information and ensuring timely circulation of relevant documents and customer satisfaction surveys.
- Ensure strict adherence to company governance operational procedures and legal compliance.
- Drive organizational success by contributing to strategic direction aligning sales strategies with broader goals providing mentorship to departments and actively participating in meetings and decisionmaking processes.
- This position may require the employee to participate in projects; tasks etc. outside the official responsibilities but within the scope of company sales related requirements (e.g. Stock take Surveys Market research interdepartmental projects etc.)
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) plus a relevant degree or diploma (BCom/BSc preferable).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
- Experience in dealing with Cross Border Trade.
- Logistics Shipping and Exchange Rate (FX) Knowledge in terms of Exporting Goods and Products.
