Maintain per capita funeral grant privilege tax permit fire donation and trust fund records. Assist in the preparation of the senior citizens pension roll enrollments social security and other functions of vital statistics. Assist tribal members and other clients in obtaining pertinent records and or information. Research family trees and tribal and government history. Prepare budget and participate in Tribal elections for the Warm Springs Tribe. Maintain accuracy of monthly reports. Supervise and maintain the Tribal census assist as Tribal liaison with U.S. federal census. Maintain strict confidentiality. Notarizes documents as a Notary Public for the State of Oregon.
Maintain accurate records on Tribal membership and extended families. Maintain successful working relationships with clients that are under highly stressful and emotional conditions. Track all CTWS enrollment trend data. Ensure appropriate disbursement of funeral grants and fire donations. Inform membership of enrollment and adoption requirements. Solicit membership input for the vital stat supervisor. Maintain good working relationships with local and regional businesses and organizations. Meet all scheduled deadlines. Direct the development of program/department budgets timely and adhere to it. Make good decisions based on all appropriate and official data. Strong attendance and punctuality is a must for this position. Will be required to submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Must also submit and pass a pre employment alcohol and drug screening.
