Job Description
Location: Cape Town Western Cape
Salary Range: R15000 R30000 per month
Position Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated Junior Technicians Senior Technicians and Team Leads to join our growing team specializing in the design installation and maintenance of water treatment systems for both residential and commercial clients.
The successful candidates will have handson experience with water systems and will play a key role in delivering highquality water treatment solutions ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Duties:
- Install and service PVC HDPE and copper pipe systems to the highest standards.
- Perform basic electrical work including wiring pumps relays and float switches.
- Commission water treatment systems by conducting pH level and metal content tests and ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
- Troubleshoot technical faults and resolve issues through site visits or remote assistance.
Project and Team Management (Senior/Team Lead Roles):
- Coordinate system servicing and installations across multiple client sites.
- Supervise technicians and manage thirdparty contractors onsite to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients onsite ensuring professionalism and client satisfaction.
- Manage project timelines and ensure work meets the expected quality standards.
Client Support & Documentation:
- Provide onsite client support offering guidance on system operation and maintenance.
- Document all service and installation activities using internal software (ClickUp).
- Log work updates track project progress and escalate any issues to the Operations Manager as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe fitting basic electrical work and system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with PVC HDPE and copper pipe systems.
- Experience installing electrical control boxes and basic electrical systems.
Education & Certifications:
- A valid drivers license.
- Electrical or Plumbing Trade certificate
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients professionally.
- Excellent problemsolving and timemanagement abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or within a team.
Other Attributes:
- Attention to detail and a customercentric approach.
- Willingness to work outside typical hours and travel between client sites as required.
