Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Wethersfield CT

Service Setting: Outpatient Office Visits

Coverage Type: Clinical Call Only

Coverage Period: May 1 2025 December 31 2025

Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM 5/6:00 PM (InHouse) OnCall After Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

OnCall Shift Schedule: After hours following inhouse shifts

Call Type: Beeper

Call Ratio: 1:1

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults with Cognitive and Memory Disorders

Patient Volume/Census: 6 per day

Phone Consults: Yes during oncall hours

Case Mix: 100% Outpatient Office Visits New Patient Consults and FollowUps

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic

Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary team including 1 APP 2 Neuropsychologists 1 Social Worker and Support Staff

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: TBD

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

None specified

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active CT Medical License (or eligibility)

Certifications: Board Certified in Cognitive Neurology or General Neurology with Cognitive and Memory Disorder Experience

Experience: Minimum 35 years in Neuroscience

Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct outpatient office visits including new patient consultations and followups

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Participate in afterhours oncall coverage as scheduled

Provide expert care for patients with cognitive and memory disorders

Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
