Job Description
As a Website Manager you will oversee website management optimization and technical implementation to improve user experience conversion rates and SEO performance. This role involves leading web strategy initiatives ensuring security and compliance and collaborating with stakeholders. You ll manage WordPress websites (preferably with Gutenberg) and resolve any technical issues.
Job Overview
Shift: 8 AM 5 PM GMT5
Work setup: Remote/Work From Home
- Develop and implement web security and compliance programs (GDPR CCPA).
- Oversee website strategy and execution ensuring alignment with business and marketing goals.
- Maintain website health by ensuring proper internal link structure and onpage SEO best practices.
- Optimize website performance focusing on speed user experience and conversion rate improvements.
- Conduct A/B testing and implement personalization strategies to enhance visitor engagement.
- Manage fullfunnel website metrics and generate datadriven insights for performance tracking.
- Develop and update landing pages ensuring crossbrowser OS and device compatibility.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement necessary updates to maintain optimal functionality.
- Lead SEO strategy and execution working with tools like Screaming Frog Ahrefs and SEMRush.
- Create and implement growth strategies to increase web traffic and subscriber base.
- Ensure website accessibility scalability and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong WordPress experience with preference for Gutenberg expertise.
- Handson experience in HTML CSS XML and JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of technical and content SEO best practices.
- Experience managing A/B testing web analytics and performance optimization.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with handson execution.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with crossfunctional teams.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and PageSpeed Insights.
Plus:
- Experience in frontend development is a plus.
- Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) in WordPress.
- Experience with build tools like Grunt Webpack or Gulp.
- Knowledge of website accessibility and compliance standards.
- Experience developing custom Gutenberg blocks.
- Understanding of B2B website optimization strategies.
- Previous experience in highgrowth companies is an advantage.
- Certifications in SEO Web Development or UX/UI Design are a plus.
