In this role you will be responsible for new development and enhancements of our insurance quoting and purchasing software. We are growing our team in the UK and are looking for dynamic developers who are passionate about delivering clean wellwritten enterprise scale applications developed using sound software principals.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Experience creating enterprise software using Asp.net Core .Net 6 C# MVC TypeScript Angular HTML CSS HTML SQL Server and Visual Studio
- Familiar with Agile frameworks ideally Scrum or Kanban using tools like Jira and Confluence
- Ability to work with others in a teamoriented environment
- Strong work ethic and able to deliver solutions in committed timeframes
- Experience with microservices RESTful APIs and eventdriven architecture
- Proven technical abilities
- Skilled troubleshooting and research abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to take decisions on design patterns required for development.
- Become a dedicated participant of our agile scrum team
- Ensure software is designed and developed to be scalable maintainable and extensible.
- Participate in code reviews testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with other members on the Agile Scrum team to selfmanage feature development to completion
- Mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions.
- Collaborate with other developers on technical solutions
- Participate in sprint reviews of completed functionality at the end of each sprint
- Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers
- Operate within defined standards and procedures
