Tasks
The Role
- Collaborate closely with our technology team to develop a generic approach for deriving aircraft performance characteristics from actual drone flight data.
- Analyze recorded flight specifically from PX4 and potentially other autopilots to determine which data can be extracted.
- Document the extracted data interpret it and map it to corresponding parameters in our simulations.
- Potentially further develop the prototype towards full automation.
Requirements
Your Profile
- Passionate about aviation drones weather data coding machine learning geodata.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science Computer Science Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Python and experience with data analysis libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPy).
- Familiarity with autopilot systems and flight data analysis is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Enjoy working in a team and characterized by an appreciative and open attitude.
- Independent goaloriented and proactive in seeking feedback and improvement.
