Primary function of the position:
Disciplinary and professional leadership of the subordinates taking into account the strategic company goals and the group mission statement developed by the shareholders.
Responsibility for the production teams in the respective production area and the organisational structure within the ISB Group in compliance with the internal processes including initiation and monitoring of corrective measures. Responsibility for the production of optomechanical and optoelectronic components while adhering to deadlines cost frames and quality specifications. Ensuring that the quality standards required in the department are met. Determination of training requirements and their implementation for the subordinate employees.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experience in the professional and disciplinary management of the team
- Contact person for the subordinate team for all matters of daily business
- Ensuring the technical and productive performance of the team
- Proactive positive and motivating management of the subordinates to achieve the targets and objectives in the current financial year; and the promotion of potential
- Definition of expectations and goals preparation of performance feedback and performance reviews with the team
- High reliability quick comprehension as well as very good analytical independent and economic thinking and acting combined with a high affinity for numbers and stress resistance
- Responsibility for compliance with quality objectives in accordance with ISO standards and internal process specifications
- Support and input providers for continuous improvement internal processes (CIP) and if necessary training for the subordinates to identify and initiate corrective measures
- Responsibility for the production of the scheduled orders in terms of quantity and on time taking into account the quality specifications
- Continuous further training both in the technical areas and in social aspects (management personnel development etc.)
- Ensuring and monitoring the technical equipment in the assigned area and initiating any corrections after consultation with the supervisor
- Compliance with the environmental protection and occupational safety regulations relevant to the area of responsibility if necessary in consultation with the supervisor and the person responsible for occupational safety
- Active cooperation with other departments such as quality assurance engineering logistics etc.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Department Operating Procedures (DOPs) and work instructions
- Document test results using paper and electronic means (Word Excel SAP)
- Perform SAP transactions related to manufacturing work
- Follows all corporate safety and production procedures and regulations
Qualifications :
Required Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Precision Optican with at least 3year work experience in optical and / or technical industry
or applicable successfully completed apprenticeship as a Precision Optican / Technological Industry (Feinoptiker) or similar with 5years of experience in Optical / Technical Industry preferred - Handson technican with the proven ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work as a teamplayer
- Trains the new teammember and apprentice
- Good interpersonal skills
- High reliability and accuracy
- Good communication and documentation skills in Bulgarian and good knowledge of the English Language preferred
- Independent working style and high resilience
- Attention to detail with focus on quality
- Previous manufacturing experience with SAP and/or document control systems a plus
- Computer literacy with common computer applications MS Office
- Previous experience with ISO 9001 ISO 13485 or similar QMS a plus
- Ability to report quality issues and suggest simple process improvements.
- Very good spatial imagination
- High interest in technical contexts and manual skills
