What You ll Do:
Team Leadership:
- Build and maintain a highperforming Direct Material Global Procurement Team.
- Ensure compliance with trade policies and procedures while optimizing the supply chain for efficiency and costeffectiveness.
Strategic Procurement:
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to identify thirdparty needs evaluate suppliers issue RFQs negotiate key terms and manage supplier relationships.
- Identify reliable sources evaluate quotations negotiate contracts and manage purchasing activities to support product development and ontime supplier delivery.
Process Improvement:
- Develop RFx documents evaluate supplier proposals and lead crossfunctional strategic planning efforts.
- Implement cost savings strategies aligned with company goals and commitments.
- Manage business transactions in ERP including requisitions purchase orders receipts and invoice processing.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Develop strategic vendor relationships and negotiate targeted cost savings.
- Drive supplier performance improvement through scorecards and raw material KPIs.
- Collaborate with R&D Engineering Production and Quality Assurance teams to align procurement strategies with internal requirements.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Create and monitor KPI metrics for logistics cost tracking and delivery.
- Provide financial updates and recommendations to improve operational results and profitability.
- Serve as a liaison between program production R&D and customers to ensure costeffective timely deliveries.

Requirements
- Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in procurement and/or logistics within the manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in sourcing raw materials and components globally in highvolume industries including automotive commercial vehicles or battery manufacturing.
- Experience sourcing battery raw materials (e.g. cathode electrolyte anode material separator structural parts aluminum foil copper foil) is highly preferred.
- Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams in highvolume manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis and datadriven decisionmaking.
- Proven track record in supplier relationship management negotiation and cost optimization.
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
