What you will be doing:
- Assist in planning and implementing largescale maintenance shutdown projects.
- Create and maintain drawings diagrams schematics databases records files and other documentation pertinent to special and regular assignments performed.
- Assist with instructing training and answering areaspecific questions for other personnel.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace at all plant levels.
- Assist in developing new procedures revising existing procedures and maintaining compliance with established procedures as well as mandated state and federal guidelines.
- Control expenditures within the limitations of the project budget.
- Contribute and be accountable in obtaining all KPIs in the assigned area.
- Support the Plant Vision and make datadriven decisions focused on prevention.
Experience you will need:
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in a highvolume rubber processing environment.
- Experience working directly with production and maintenance personnel.
- Experience with lean techniques and structured quality systems.
- Safety and ES&H focus as a priority in every operation.
- Continuous Improvement or Lean Six Sigma expertise.
