PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Establish Red Bull as a strong consumerfocused brand by designing and executing a short mid and long term sports programme achieving strong credibility for the product and brand. Shows perfect brand awareness and offers personal experiences to our consumers. Adds actuality to our brand by following the global Red Bull sport strategy the general brand habits/principles and by completing and implementing global and international sports programmes and portfolios. Be the reference of the brand values for the rest of Departments and employees within the company.
Improve a Highly Credible Athletes Programme
Selecting relevant national sports personalities with a perfect brand fit and optimise impact and efficiency via professional target setting and controlling. Servicing with the best individual package (performance marketing communication). Ongoing optimisation of these cooperations. Provide creative improvements (the range of disciplines/sports/playgrounds are (nearly) unlimited).
National Event Programme Planning
Design develop and improve an innovative and outstanding national event programme by inventing and executing new event and athletes projects. Develop concepts that are tailormade and highly relevant for regional and national consumer groups that offer personal experiences to participants and spectators and creates unique media content.
Gaming
Establish Red Bull as a credible and functional beverage in the national gaming landscape (3rd party events opinion leadersindustry agencies media federations authorities etc.) Raise the daily usage/sales on a broad scale.
Athlete Management
Maximise usage of Red Bulls global athletes and event portfolio by using international Red Bull athletes and sending national participants (Red Bull athletes or other) to foreign Red Bull activities.
Branding and Communication
Design and contribute unique stories interesting topics new formats and top media content for Red Bull Media House and answer all sportsrelated consumer requests. Responsible for Brand appearances in national sport programmes (including Fields) according to international benchmarks and guidelines. Responsible for information transfer (both directions) via the Red Bull InfoNet for all sportsrelated topics (updated athletes and event fact sheets calendars contacts etc.).
Department Management
Run an extremely motivated national sports department by: challenging and developing skills and knowledge of all sports colleagues; cooperating with top professional and innovative external partners freelancers and agencies; supervise direct and support Field Marketing Managers in all sportsrelated affairs. Run the national sports department with high Red Bull standards in terms of professionalism wit cleverness efficiency budget transparency legal sales orientation and creativity. Responsible for Departments budget and accomplishment of the annual BP figures.
Qualifications :
Completed Degree
Advanced English
At least 4 years of previous work experience in sports industry sport events or marketing agency sport institution or federation or as a journalist professional athlete or trainer.
Knowledge of Word Excel PowerPoint etc.
Ability to design and organise events and projects of all scales
Able to pursue a global company vision: management of strategic marketing communication logistic finance legal and salesoriented challenges.
Ability to select service and manage athletes based on sportive performance marketing and communication facts.
Experience in Gaming Soccer and/or motorsports.
An understanding of sportsperformance specialist knowledge and experience. Leadership motivation innovation and team skills.
Creative innovative openminded sporty selfconscious motivated capable of working in a team leadership quality.
