Job Description

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Leadership

  • Lead the manufacturing strategy for the site to ensure the timely production of highquality products while driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Works with production planning ensuring alignment with demand forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Maintain strong oversight of manufacturing workflows to ensure optimal productivity costefficiency and product quality.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulatory requirements within the manufacturing environment.
  • Develop site strategies for COGS reduction while managing growth and/or expansion.
  • Reduce costs of goods measured as savings yeartoyear including direct labor and overhead.
  • Manage and ensure successful new product/piloting.

Cross Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Safety Quality Materials Production Human Resources and other relevant departments to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Foster strong working relationships with external stakeholders including vendors and suppliers to ensure equipment availability and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Drive interdepartmental collaboration to address production issues resolve bottlenecks and implement improvements.

Operations Excellence

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Drive cost control efforts reduce waste improve cycle times and maximize resource utilization.

Talent & Organization

  • Build and lead a highperformance team by recruiting training and retaining top talent.
  • Foster employee engagement through coaching mentoring and performance management.
  • Develop succession plans and training programs to build the capabilities of the team and ensure continuous skill development.
  • Promote a culture of accountability teamwork and employee empowerment.

Culture

  • Foster a culture including ways of working and behaviors that is congruent with our mission values and success model.
  • Take an active role in the community: raise awareness about opportunities the manufacturing industry can offer nurture future manufacturing talent grow their network and the companys reputation and give back.
  • Develop and deliver approaches to improve culture based on employee engagement survey data.
  • Develop and implement solutions that drive a highperformance culture.

Other

  • Manage budgets and resources for manufacturing operations including capital expenditures and equipment maintenance costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations.
  • Report on performance metrics to senior leadership and recommend actions to achieve business goals.
  • Lead and participate in crossfunctional projects and business initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications :

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree required in engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Industrial) with a minimum of 10 years of significant relevant professional experience.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years previous experience in manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a people management role.
  • Strong understanding of production processes quality standards maintenance systems and cost management.
  • Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
  • Experience in managing and leading crossfunctional teams in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software is preferred (AutoCAD PLM CMMS simulation and statistical software).
  • Experience in developing and execute strategies that improve operational efficiency and contribute to organizational success
  • Possess strong knowledge in manufacturing maintenance and continuous improvement processes.
  • Must be able to travel within Mexico and the United States
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain necessary travel visas
