KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Leadership
- Lead the HR functions for the manufacturing facility to ensure the workforce is capable motivated and aligned with business goals.
- Develop HR strategies and programs that support production objectives enhance operational efficiency and promote a highperformance culture.
- Oversee workforce planning and manage staffing requirements to meet production demands and business growth.
- Manage HRrelated administrative functions such as payroll compensation benefits and other related functions.
Cross Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with senior management plant leadership and other departments to ensure HR initiatives support operational goals and are aligned with company strategy.
- Work closely with department heads to address workforce issues resolve conflicts and foster crossfunctional teamwork.
- Partner with other departments focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Operations Excellence
- Implement HR programs that drive operational performance such as talent management succession planning and performance metrics.
- Develop and monitor key HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates retention rates absenteeism etc.) to identify trends and implement proactive measures for improvement.
- Ensure continuous improvement in HR processes to support operational excellence in the facility.
Talent & Organization
- Oversee recruitment onboarding and retention strategies to attract and retain highquality employees.
- Manage and improve performance management systems ensuring timely reviews feedback and development plans for all team members.
- Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills career growth and engagement.
- Drive employee engagement programs to maintain a motivated and committed workforce.
- Oversee the administration of benefit programs including healthcare retirement and other employee benefits.
- Ensure compensation strategies are competitive within the labor market and aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws regulations and company policies.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances complaints or workplace incidents ensuring legal compliance and fair treatment.
- Foster employee engagement through coaching mentoring and performance management.
- Develop succession plans and training programs to build the capabilities of the team and ensure continuous skill development.
- Promote a culture of accountability teamwork and employee empowerment.
Culture
- Foster a culture including ways of working and behaviors that is congruent with our mission values and success model.
- Take an active role in the community: raise awareness about opportunities the manufacturing industry can offer nurture future manufacturing talent grow their network and the companys reputation and give back.
- Develop and deliver approaches to improve culture based on employee engagement survey data.
- Develop and implement solutions that drive a highperformance culture.
Other
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing recommendations on HR strategies policies and practices that support business goals.
- Drive diversity equity and inclusion initiatives to enhance workplace culture and support the companys values.
- Lead and participate in crossfunctional projects and business initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in human resources Business Administration or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 710 years of progressive HR experience including at least 35 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Professional HR certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and other human resources related software applications.
- Possess knowledge of employment law regulations and HR best practices.
- Proven track in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of HR professionals.
- Indepth knowledge of compensation and benefits programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong ethical and professional standards with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Successful track record fostering positive labor relations.
- Must be able to read and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to travel within Mexico and the United States
- Valid passport and ability to obtain necessary travel visas
