Overview:
The function of the Sales Support Representative is to ensure our customers receive their orders complete and on time. This will be accomplished through accurate inventories timely data entry and coordination with team members. Will process orders for merchandise received by mail telephone fax Email or electronically.
Heres what youll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for accurate order entry including prices and quantities
- Understand at a basic level the sizing grades shipping/packing locations and pack styles
- Awareness of product availability to effectively support the sales team
- Communicate regularly through email and verbal communication with Account Executives/managers to stay up to date on any changes and or availabilities
- Communicate with the internal transportation and or outside transportation companies to set up appointment times follow up on no shows and address cancelled orders to all parties involved
- Assist other SSRs with their coverage and be a potential backup when members of the team are out of the office
- Assist Sales in cleaning up any account payables followups
- Facilitate all commodity rejection(s) reporting and accounting followup
- Addresses customer complaints and questions in a timely manner
- Adjusts orders received for price and nomenclature
- Enters data into sales internal database to determine total cost for customer
- Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates
- Computes price discounts account representation and shipping charges as required.
- Prepares invoices and shipping documents such as export papers commercial invoices.
- Checks shipping orders to ensure they are accurate with regards to quantity shipped this is done by comparing shipping documents with computergenerated reports.
- Specifies if special labeling is required for shipment and in some instances supplies to the shipping department.
- Confers with production shipping warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
- Makes sure that quotes are processed through the quoting process in a timely manner
- Maintains documentation of contract pricing and ensures accuracy of entry
- Maintains customer name and address database
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- 1 year of office experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills are a must
- Entry level understanding of citrus or produce commodities preferred
Pay Range: $22.00 $32.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
